Gathering Information
My process for assessing is gathering information from home and school so there is a clear picture of the learner's strengths and difficulties.

Home-Based Assessment
The assessment would take place in the individual's home so parents can stay on site and the pupil is in a secure and comfortable environment.
Assessment Areas:
- • Language, verbal and visual ability
- • Reading and spelling
- • Memory and processing information
- • Mathematics (if highlighted as difficulty)
Assessment Details:
- • Approximately three hours duration
- • Breaks built in
- • Parents stay on site
- • Secure and comfortable environment
Report Writing
The report would be written and shared within three weeks.
Follow-up Meeting
I would follow the report up with a meeting to explain the results and answer any questions.
